Career Opportunities

Students who graduate from the department are given Geographer title.  Our graduates  can work in such places as Mineral Research and Exploration Institute, State Hydraulic Works, Rural Services, General Directorate of Forestry, General Directorate of Highways, Meteorology Affairs, State Institute of Statistics, State Planning Organization, Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Environment.  In addition to these, they can also take part in regional planning studies and planning activities of the municipalities and can also be qualified to teach by receiving pedagogical formation training.
