General Information

Our department was established at Faculty of Science and Arts in 2007 and active education has started with 30 students in 2014-2015 academic year.  The academic staff of the department constitutes a associate professor, four assistant professor and six research assistant. Two of these are commissioned to doctorate education to other university. The department consists of four departments: Physical Geography, Human and Economic Geography, Geography of Turkey and Regional Geography. As of 2021 - 2022 academic year, 265 students are our department.
